(California).- Leading mobile-first iGaming platform provider CashBet has continued its unprecedented expansion by appointing three senior advisors to its Advisory Board.
Charlie Shrem, successful crypto entrepreneur, will advise CashBet on the development of its crypto operations following its US$38 million ICO earlier this year. Shrem is celebrated as one of the first investors to embrace Bitcoin during its infancy and is a founding member of the Bitcoin Foundation, as well as co-founding BitInstant in 2011, one of the world’s first Bitcoin exchanges.
Shrem’s wealth of experience will bring unparalleled access to services and partners within the blockchain ecosystem, as well as advising on CashBet’s continued rapid expansion as one of the iGaming industry’s pioneers in the blockchain and crypto ecosystem.
“Online gambling is a space that’s ripe for disruption. CashBet has an ambitious plan to couple a crypto-enabled software platform with state-of-the-art original iGaming content to provide crypto casino operators with a true one-stop solution. I’m especially excited because CashBet is one of very few crypto players that is fully licensed and regulated by top tier gambling jurisdictions. They’re really trying to legitimize the crypto casino experience,” said Shrem, currently Co-Founder of CryptoIQ.
Shrem is the latest to join CashBet’s advisory board. Other recent additions include Matteo Monteverdi, former IGT SVP Global Digital Products and Daniel Phillips, former Head of Operations at gaming software supplier Playtech. Both offer an unparalleled level of industry expertise: Monteverdi brings more than 20 years of international experience in the B2B and B2C iGaming sector. Phillips was previously VP of UK Operations at Playtech and Gaming Director at Gala Corral Group and has more than 20 years’ experience in the gaming business.
Mike Reaves, Co-Founder and CEO of CashBet said: “Charlie’s depth of expertise in crypto innovation, along with Matteo and Daniel’s decades of experience in gaming are a powerful combination that will help us realize our ambitious vision of becoming the world’s leading blockchain-powered iGaming platform. We’re honored to have all three highly experienced individuals join our Advisory Board.”
