(Malta).- Recently launched CasinoBeats Summit infographic includes statistics on number of active player accounts, employment and the number of licensed operators in the country, among other data.
CasinoBeats Summit anticipated that Summer iGaming Week will be held July 13-15, 2021.
The reports talks about Malta as the home of online casino.
Malta economic powerhouse:
-It has 303 licensed online gaming companies
-196 companies with B2C gaming service licenses
-111 companies with b2b critical supply licenses
-153 companies with online casino licenses
-7,197 people employed by licensed online gaming companies

The report revealed that the online gaming market is still growing:
Number of active player accounts registered on websites licensed by the MGA:
-10.249.449 in 2017
-more than 12 million in 2018
-15,3 million in 2019
-17.2 million in 2020

Number of new active player accounts registered on websites licensed by the MGA:
-4.8 million in 2017
-5.6 million in 2018
-6.7 million in 2019
-7.5 million in 2020

The report also highlighted that, in Malta, online casino is the undisputed number one:
