(Sofia).- The company secures a conditional licence from the AGLC to supply online gaming content to licensed operators in Alberta, marking another step in its North American expansion.

Amusnet Gaming Strengthens Canadian Presence with Alberta Licence

Amusnet Gaming has further strengthened its presence in Canada after securing a conditional licence from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC). The authorisation will allow the company to supply online gaming content to licensed operators in the province and represents another milestone in its expansion strategy across North America.

Expansion Following Ontario Entry

The licence comes after Amusnet Gaming successfully entered the Ontario market earlier this year. With the new authorisation, the company is expanding its regulatory footprint in Canada and will be able to explore commercial opportunities in Alberta’s newly regulated iGaming market.

Alberta’s iGaming market officially launched on July 13, 2026, under a regulatory framework designed to uphold high standards of integrity, security and player protection. The AGLC is responsible for overseeing the province’s iGaming industry, including the registration and compliance of operators and suppliers.

Meeting Regulatory Requirements

Alberta’s licensing framework requires iGaming suppliers to meet strict requirements related to regulatory compliance, technology, security, integrity and responsible gaming.

By securing the conditional licence, Amusnet Gaming has demonstrated its ability to meet these requirements and obtained the necessary regulatory credentials to support its future operations in the province.

Strengthening Amusnet’s North American Strategy

Julia Peeva-Sertov, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Amusnet Gaming, said: Securing a conditional licence in Alberta marks another significant step forward towards Amusnet Gaming’s expansion strategy in North America. Following our successful licensing in Ontario, this achievement further strengthens our position in Canada and reflects our continued commitment to the highest standards of regulatory compliance and integrity. We look forward to exploring opportunities in Alberta, building strong partnerships, and bringing our diverse portfolio to another regulated market.”

With Alberta joining its growing portfolio of regulated jurisdictions, Amusnet Gaming remains focused on sustainable international growth while continuing to identify new opportunities across North America and other regulated markets.
