(Copenhague).- A new responsible gambling campaign encourages young men to take a break from betting during the summer holidays by using Denmark's self-exclusion register, ROFUS.
Summer Campaign Targets Young Players
The "Send your game on a summer holiday" campaign runs from 13 July to 2 August and uses holiday-themed images and animated videos to encourage players to reflect on their gambling habits. Featuring destinations such as Crete and Alanya, the campaign delivers the message: "Send your game on a summer holiday – Take it easy with ROFUS."
Promoting Responsible Gambling
Aimed primarily at younger audiences, the campaign is being promoted on Facebook, Instagram, and digital screens at Copenhagen Airport, reminding travelers to take a break from gambling while on holiday. It builds on the "Take it easy with ROFUS" initiative launched in 2024.
Flexible Self-Exclusion Options
Through ROFUS (Register of Voluntarily Excluded Players), users can choose self-exclusion periods of 24 hours, one month, three months, six months, or opt for a permanent exclusion lasting at least one year. The initiative seeks to make self-exclusion a more accessible and relevant tool for younger gamblers during the busy summer sports season.
