In an unprecedented action against cyber fraud, Cambodian authorities inspected about 28,500 locations, uncovering illegal operations at 665 sites. Inspections of the kingdom’s 195 licensed casinos exposed 72 facilities involved in online fraud.
As of June 30, more than 21,100 foreigners of 38 nationalities had been deported, the statement said. Law enforcement forwarded 268 cases to the courts, involving 2,773 suspects.
