The Lottery of the City of Buenos Aires has the competence to authorize, organize, operate, collect, administer, and control games of chance, skill games, and pari-mutuel wagering and connected activities in the territory of the City of Buenos Aires. The agreement procures the correct operation of the Hipodromo Argentino de Palermo Sociedad Anónima (HAPSA), Casino Buenos Aires, and official agencies.

“We are thankful to LOTBA for trusting GLI to provide them with our world-class professional consulting, training, and auditing services,” said James Maida, GLI President and CEO. “As the first and most experienced independent gaming and lottery testing laboratory in the world, we look forward to working closely with LOTBA’s regulators to help ensure the integrity of the gaming and lottery industries in Buenos Aires.”

“We are also thankful for the confidence that LOTBA has placed in GLI’s global resources to deliver the type of outstanding results the Latin American and Caribbean gaming and lottery industries have come to expect from GLI,” said Karen Sierra-Hughes, GLI’s Director of Latin American and Caribbean Government Relations and Business Development. “This agreement with LOTBA further underscores GLI’s strong commitment to the Latin American and Caribbean region, as evidenced also by our upcoming Latin American and Caribbean Regulators Roundtable in Lima, Peru August 6 – 8.”

“This agreement is very important for the Lottery of the City because we understand GLI´s prestige and global recognition. The signing of this agreement will allow us to train our team and continue to work in line with our transparency principles,” said Martín García Santillán, President of LOTBA.

GLI is proud to expand its successful partnership with gaming and lottery regulators in Argentina. Last year GLI, through its world-renowned GLI University® professional education program, provided training to Argentina regulators, as well as other regulatory entities in Latin America and the Caribbean.
