The draws will only take place on Saturdays, and the new schedule establishes that four draws will be held in July, on August 5, and on September 3.
The substitute draws are held on Fridays, in collaboration with Caixa Seguradora in Brasilia. The results will published in sequence at 7 pm on the official FenaCap site, on Facebook and on the official YouTube channel.
The last Loteria Federal draw, No. 5,477, took place on March 18. Due to the lack of activity, FenaCap started new substitute draws to avoid interrupting the awards from the capitalization bonds during the period with no official activity.
Between January and April, $66m were distributed in prizes to clients of capitalization bonds issued throughout the country, representing approximately $807k per day in prizes.
In the first quarter of 2020, Caixa collected $577m, representing a 22% drop compared to the same period in 2019, when it registered $742m. Moreover, the figure is also a 37.8% setback from the previous quarter, when Caixa generated $927m.
Late last month, Brazil’s gambling regulator, the Secretariat for the Evaluation of Public Policies, Planning, Energy and Lottery (SECAP) authorized a new lottery product with numerical forecasts, called “Super Sete”. Caixa will be in charge of deciding the first date of the debut draw.
