Based on our experience in WLA markets in Europe and North America, PlayBingo has proven to be a significant factor in player acquisition and player retention, while driving growth across our customers’ entire suite of digital product offerings,” said Declan Harkin, IGT Senior Vice President and COO, International. “By adding the new PlayBingo platform to its program, Veikkaus is once again demonstrating its position as one of the most technologically advanced lotteries in the world, and as an operator committed to responsibly entertaining its players.”

Under the terms of the agreement, which is for four years with an option for a two-year extension followed by rolling annual periods, IGT PlayDigital will replace Veikkaus’ current bingo platform with its PlayBingo platform. It will also provide ongoing marketing and product support.

Veikkaus has been a valued customer since 1989. IGT provides Veikkaus with its core lottery central system, PlayCasino games, and land-based casino games, as well as an enhanced Player Services e-commerce solution.

In addition to Veikkaus, IGT's Nordic WLA digital customers include Norsk Tipping in Norway, where IGT recently launched its PlayBingo platform, as well as Svenska Spel in Sweden. IGT also provides its digital content through a third party to Danske Spil in Denmark.
