(Taguig).- FBM® Systems & Electronics employees lived a different work day last Friday, as more than 140 students from Taguig City University visited the manufacturer's operation facilities in Subic. The initiative allowed the students to review all the processes behind the production of casino cabinets in a short presentation and with observation periods dedicated to analysing how the FBM ® Systems & Electronics professionals execute some of their daily tasks.
The education tour for the Taguig City University students started as a challenge launched by the SBMA Tourism Department which FBM ® Systems & Electronics promptly embraced. FBM ® Systems & Electronics is a manufacturer of electronic bingo and casino machines with 12 years of experience in the casino industry. This company is one of the sons of the FBM ® group and produces machines from Subic to different geographies of the world, using its assembly line.
FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE ASSEMBLING CASINO CABINETS WITH FBM ®
All 140 students from the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology of Taguig City University started their tour with a short presentation. Divided into three different groups, the scholars had the opportunity to understand the dimension of the FBM® Systems & Electronics global operation, as well as its casino cabinets portfolio and the process assembly of sub-products and finished goods.
From the drawing stage to the final production, passing by the prototyping periods, visitors had the chance to understand how an experienced manufacturer operating in the gaming industry ensures a casino cabinet building that combines innovative design with modern technologies and reliable performances.
After the context, came the practice. Students had the opportunity to walk around FBM® Systems & Electronics’ facilities to witness the work developed by various professionals in different stages of the production process in real-time. FBM ® Systems & Electronics facilities in Subic have the capacity to produce 1.000 cabinets monthly and this factory exports products to markets in the Asian, European and American continents.
