(Las Vegas).- Konami Gaming’s Shane Thompson Named Among 2027 Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40.
Konami Gaming, Inc. is celebrating the recognition of Shane Thompson, Director of Sales, Corporate Accounts, as one of the latest recipients of the “Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40” distinction.
The annual recognition, presented by Global Gaming Business magazine and The Innovation Group (TIG), highlights professionals under the age of 40 who are making a significant contributions across the gaming industry.
From Operator to Supplier Leadership
Thompson’s career has included experience on both the supplier and operator sides of the gaming sector. Since joining Konami in 2020, he has advanced rapidly into a leadership position.
In his current role as Director of Sales, Corporate Accounts, Thompson works with some of North America’s largest casino operators, supporting the development and deployment of gaming entertainment solutions.
Building Partnerships Across North America
Thompson leads a sales team covering markets across the United States and Canada, with a focus on strengthening collaboration between Konami and its long-standing casino partners.

Leadership and Career at Konami
Since joining Konami Gaming, Inc. in 2020, Shane Thompson has played a central role in developing strategic partnerships with major casino operators. Today, as Director of Sales, Corporate Accounts, he leads a team with coverage across the United States and Canada, managing business relationships with leading casino organizations and Canadian partners. With nearly a decade of experience across both the operator and supplier sectors, Thompson brings a strong track record that has delivered results for Konami and its customers. He also serves on the board of directors of the Canadian Gaming Association and holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
Industry Involvement and Recognition
Thompson’s involvement in the gaming sector extends beyond his responsibilities at Konami. His commitment to industry development includes serving as a board member of the Canadian Gaming Association.
He will be formally honored during the 2026 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Las Vegas on September 30, 2026, with a profile in an upcoming edition of Global Gaming Business.
