(Austria).- The globally active gaming technology group NOVOMATIC has again been certified for its group-wide sustainable business strategy, high innovative strength as well as the promotion of young talents by the independent, cross-industry excellence platform "Leitbetriebe Austria", which awards exemplary companies in the Austrian economy.
In the course of a comprehensive qualification process, NOVOMATIC AG as the largest employer in the region, was once again awarded as a leading company by the “Leitbetriebe Austria” platform. NOVOMATIC Executive Board Member Johannes Gratzl received the certificate from Leitbetriebe Austria managing director Monica Rintersbacher during a visit to the headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen.
On the occasion of the certificate presentation, Gratzl explained the sustainable corporate strategy: "As one of the largest gaming technology groups in the world, with around 21,000 employees at more than 45 locations worldwide, we pay particular attention to the implementation of sustainable ESG measures. We therefore consider the award as 'Austrian Leading Company' as a confirmation of our efforts in this important area, which are also reflected in top rankings in international ESG ratings and successful G4 certification in accordance with the highest international player protection standards."
Monica Rintersbacher underlined the significance of NOVOMATIC as a major employer, with more than 3,000 staff in Austria, including around 1,000 at the company headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen: "NOVOMATIC has fought its way to the top as a global player in a highly competitive industry. The high regional added value, the promotion of young talent and, above all, the high innovative strength make NOVOMATIC an exemplary company with great regional and overall economic significance."
As one of the largest employers in Lower Austria, NOVOMATIC also received its second full "berufundfamilie" certificate from the Federal Ministry for Women, Families and Youth. This certificate distinguishes companies that support a healthy work-life balance of their employees with appropriate operational measures, such as subsidized childcare or the possibility of home office, for which NOVOMATIC also received the "Mobile Working" certificate. In addition, NOVOMATIC's high quality standards in recruiting measures and internal onboarding processes were awarded the silver "Best Recruiters" seal.
