(Espelkamp).- The British arcade chain Praesepe, a subsidiary of the family-run, Eastern Westphalian-based Gauselmann Group, is reorganising its management. Stefan Bruns is the new CEO responsible for business operations, while the position of CFO (commercial director) is held by Börris Lüngen.

Stefan Bruns and Börris Lüngen new Praesepe Managing Directors

“We are pleased to have gained two new managing directors, Stefan Bruns and Börris Lüngen, with extensive knowledge and experience, especially in international working environments. This is highly relevant, since our international activities in the UK are also continuously expanding,” explains Dieter Kuhlmann, Gauselmann Group Management Board member with responsibility for Gaming Operations. Börris Lüngen and Stefan Bruns succeed Nick Harding, who will remain with the Gauselmann Group. He is responsible for representing the company's political interests in the UK growth market.

Stefan Bruns has been with the Gauselmann Group since 2014. He initially supported the Management Board of the Gauselmann Group successfully in various international projects and was subsequently responsible together with Athanasios Isaakidis for the operating activities of Merkur Gaming, the international sales and development brand of adp Gauselmann. The 47-year-old has been operations director of CASINO MERKUR International since the beginning of 2017. The Gauselmann subsidiary operates around 400 venues in various European countries. He will continue to hold this position along with his new position at Praesepe.

Börris Lüngen has more than 25 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting and project management as well as more than 13 years of management experience in various sales lines in the food retailing sector. The 56-year-old has gained international professional experience in numerous countries, including Asia, the Czech Republic, Turkey and Poland. Most recently, the native of Minden in North Rhine-Westphalia worked for Metro Cash & Carry in the Ukraine. “Praesepe offers me the opportunity of an exciting, international working environment with a family-run, Eastern Westphalian company behind it that is a global player and a pioneer in the vending machine industry. I am very much looking forward to working with our national and international colleagues,” says Börris Lüngen.

Praesepe currently operates 181 entertainment centres and bingo clubs with 9,417 amusement and gaming machines in the UK. More than 1,800 employees work for the company, which has been part of the Gauselmann Group since 2012. The takeover is considered the largest acquisition in the history of the group.
