Companies Launch Unprecedented Survey on Employee Retention and HR Strategies
Evenbeter (formerly EvenBet Gaming), a leading B2B developer of online gaming solutions, together with international recruitment agency Headshot, has announced the launch of a major joint project – an independent industry study titled "The State of iGaming Teams 2026–2027: Why People Stay. Why They Leave. What Leaders Can Do Next."
iGaming is widely recognised as one of the most competitive industries in the battle for talent, where the cost of losing strong specialists continues to grow, companies and employees frequently fail to understand each other's real expectations, and comprehensive industry-wide data on employee retention is virtually non-existent.
This study to serve as a practical tool for CEOs and Founders
Daria Fot, Human Resources Director at Evenbeter, said: "The goal of the research is to build a full industry picture of team conditions in iGaming and provide companies with practical recommendations for employee retention."
This study will serve as a practical tool for CEOs and Founders, enabling them to make data-driven decisions and better understand the true cost of losing key specialists, HR and Team Leaders, to benchmark their practices against the market and identify areas for growth, and the broader iGaming industry, to establish a unified understanding of the key drivers behind employee retention.
The active data collection phase kicks off on 3rd September and runs until 1st October 2026, via online/offline surveys and interviews. The final report will be officially published in late November 2026, providing an in-depth look across several critical pillars:
- Overview of the project framework, methodology, and respondent profiles.
- Examination of why professionals leave and what factors drive retention.
- Criteria on how specialists choose a new employer.
- Evaluations of management culture and real employee experience.
- Assessment of burnout and workload challenges.
- Comparative gap analysis between what companies consider important versus what employees actually value.
- Shifting specialist expectations for 2026–2027.
- Actionable conclusions and recommendations for employers.
Polina Kapitonova, CEO at Headshot, said: "Market-wide averages offer little value to individual companies. We will break down the results by factors such as professional experience, function, and location, and show why people stay or leave in each context."
The organisers invite all iGaming professionals, from line specialists to team leads and CEOs, to participate via the survey link: http://s.alchemer.eu/s3/The-State-of-iGaming-Teams-2026-2027?_privatedomain=t&sg_maintain_session=1&sg_navigate=start&sglocale=en?utm_source=press_release&utm_medium=pr&utm_campaign=iGaming_Survey&utm_content=pr&utm_term=StateofiGamingTeamsSurvey
As an added incentive, a special prize draw with valuable rewards will be held among all survey participants.
