UGC launched a new project – the Office of Psychological Support for Gamblers

(Ukraine).- "Together with our members, we continue to implement initiatives aimed at increasing social responsibility of the gambling business and adhering to responsible gambling principles. Today, we are pleased to announce that UGC launched a new project – the Office of Psychological Support for Gamblers."
Under this project, professional psychologists will provide free initial consultations to people who believe they face gambling addiction problems, as well as to their families. In addition to psychological counseling, free individual and group therapy will also be organized for players who need it.
Commenting on the launch of the Office of Psychological Support for Gamblers, Chairman of the Ukrainian Gambling Council Anton Kuchukhidze, noted:
“Projects on social responsibility of the gambling business serve as the foundation on which the gambling industry is built in the civilized world. And the fact that the representatives of the Ukrainian legal gambling market understand this at the very beginning of its establishment is particularly important. I am sure that the Office will allow players with certain gambling addiction problems and their families to receive the necessary psychological support and learn to perceive gambling primarily as entertainment.”
Qualified psychologists will provide free consultations 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Relevant consultations on gambling addiction are available at the following numbers:

Important information.
Until 09.01.2022, the Office of Psychological Support for Players will work in test mode. Calls will be processed by operators from 10:00 to 20:00. On 10.01.2022, the Office will begin to function on a 24-hour shift basis.
