On Monday, May 20, Casey of Vancouver, WA, hit a jackpot for $1.7 million on the NFL-themed slot game, Super Bowl Jackpots, by Aristocrat Gaming in Grand Ronde, Oregon. Celebrating his birthday weekend, Casey, an avid Atlanta Falcons fan, was drawn to Super Bowl Jackpots. Following a $3 bet on the Atlanta Falcons theme, he initially thought he had won $1,700, but was shocked to learn it was in fact the $1.7 million jackpot.
This win marks the first jackpot over $1 million dollars on an NFL-themed slot machine and is the largest wide area progressive (WAP) jackpot awarded by Aristocrat Gaming in the state of Oregon.
