(Maryland).- Maryland’s six commercial casinos combined to generate $156,848,176 in revenue from slot machines and table games during June 2026, marking a moderate 2.4% decrease compared to the same month last year.
State Contributions and Fiscal Year 2026 Wrap-Up
Despite the slight year-over-year dip of approximately $3.8 million, the gaming industry remains a vital funding source for local communities. During June 2026, casino contributions to the state totaled $67,902,499 (a minor 0.9% decrease compared to June 2025). This figure includes $48,934,675 directed to the state's Education Trust Fund, which decreased by 1.0% year-over-year.
Beyond education, Maryland's casino revenues are legally designated to support the local jurisdictions where the properties operate, the horse racing industry, and small, minority-, and women-owned businesses across the state.
This monthly report also marks the close of Fiscal Year 2026 (running from July 2025 through June 2026). Over the 12-month period:
Total gaming revenue reached $1,931,544,719, representing a 1.7% decrease compared to FY2025.
Total state contributions came in at $831,029,971, down 1.1% year-over-year.
