Michigan iGaming, Online Sports Betting Operators Report $371M in April Revenue

(Detroit).- Michigan commercial and tribal operators reported a combined $371 million in internet gaming (iGaming) and online sports betting gross receipts in April, a 0.3% decrease from March 2026.
Monthly Gross Receipts
April iGaming gross receipts totaled $303.4 million. April online sports betting gross receipts reached $67.6 million.
Monthly Adjusted Gross Receipts
Combined adjusted gross receipts (AGR) totaled $315.61 million for April, including $291.16 million from iGaming and $24.45 million from online sports betting.
Compared with March 2026, iGaming AGR decreased 5.8% and online sports betting AGR declined 25.2%. Year-over-year, iGaming AGR was up 24.9%, while online sports betting AGR decreased by 8.7%.
Monthly Handle
Online sports betting handle totaled $460.8 million, a 5.0% decrease from March 2026.
Monthly State Taxes and Payments
Operators submitted $63.2 million in taxes and payments to the State of Michigan in April, including:
- iGaming taxes and fees: $60.7 million
- Online sports betting taxes and fees: $2.5 million
Monthly City of Detroit Taxes and Payments
The three Detroit casinos reported $15.1 million in wagering taxes and municipal services fees paid to the City of Detroit in April, including:
- iGaming taxes and fees: $14.3 million
- Online sports betting taxes and fees: $817,941
Monthly Tribal Operators’ Payments
Tribal operators reported $7.9 million in payments to governing bodies in April.

As of April 2026, 15 commercial and tribal operators have been authorized to offer iGaming and/or online sports betting in Michigan. Of those, 13 operators offer online sports betting, while all 15 offer iGaming. Detailed results by operator are available on the MGCB website.
