Pennsylvania Sets New Record for iGaming Revenue in October 2025

(Harrisburg).- PGCB reports over $596 million in total gaming revenue, driven by unprecedented online gaming performance.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) announced that total gaming and fantasy contest revenue for October 2025 reached $596,970,584, marking a 20.22% increase compared to October 2024.
This total includes all PGCB-regulated gaming verticals: retail slot machines, table games, iGaming, retail and online sports wagering, fantasy contests, and video gaming terminals (VGTs). The PGCB has published detailed breakdowns for each category on its official website.
A major highlight of the report was the record-breaking iGaming revenue, which climbed to $251,097,586 in October, surpassing the previous record set in March 2025 at $238,220,161.
In addition, total tax revenue generated across all gaming formats and fantasy contests amounted to $252,287,937 for the month.
A comparative chart released by the PGCB outlines revenue generated in October 2025 across Pennsylvania casinos, fantasy contest operators, and VGT vendors, alongside performance data from October 2024.
Tax revenue from the play of slots machines in October 2025 was $102,842,274.
Retail Slot Machine Revenue
This October’s revenue from the play of retail slot machines was $203,502,109, a 1.43% increase in revenue when compared to the $200,625,182 generated in October 2024.
The number of slot machines in operation in October 2025 was 24,299 compared to 24,485 at the casinos in October 2024.
Retail Table Games Revenue
Retail Table games revenue for October 2025 was $76,098,010, an increase of 2.97% from October 2024 when revenue was $73,900,826.
Total tax revenue from table games play during October 2025 was $12,776,512*.
Internet Casino-Type Gaming (iGaming) Revenue
Casino games offered online generated monthly revenue totaling $251,097,586 during October 2025 compared to $189,027,924 in October 2024, an increase of 32.84%. Within that number, revenue for both online slot machine and table games reached monthly highs.
Sports Wagering Revenue
October 2025, total sports wagering handle was $968,507,712, or 12.86% higher than October 2024 total of $858,148,994. The October 2025 wagering handle was an all-time high eclipsing the $935,530,170 wagered in November 2024.
At the same time, the taxable revenue figure for October 2025 was $60,674,209 or 121.66% over October 2024 when taxable revenue was $27,373,043.
Video Gaming Terminals
Total adjusted revenue for October 2025 for video gaming terminals (VGTs) was $3,520,324, or 1.02% lower than October 2024 when revenue was $3,556,562. By the end of October 2025, all VGT Operators offered the maximum permitted five machines at 76 qualified truck stop establishments, compared to five machines at 74 establishments at this time last year.
Fantasy Contests
Fantasy Contests revenue was $2,078,346 in October 2025, a decrease of 1.12% over October 2024, when revenue was $2,101,924.
