(Denmark).- The Financial Intelligence Unit has published its quarterly report, revealing a significant decline in notifications from the gambling sector—a trend the Danish Gambling Authority is currently monitoring closely.
Drop in Gambling Sector Notifications in Q2 2026
The Financial Intelligence Unit has issued its new quarterly report for the second quarter of 2026. This document, published every quarter, includes the number of notifications received by the entity during the previous quarter.
Following the release of this data, the Danish Gambling Authority noticed that there has been a significant fall in the number of notifications submitted by gambling operators in Q2 2026, compared to Q1.

Given this pronounced decrease in reporting levels from betting and gaming companies, the Danish Gambling Authority is monitoring the development closely.
