Nevada Gaming Win Tops $1.3 Billion in June Despite Las Vegas Strip Dip

(Las Vegas).- Nevada's gaming revenue saw a modest 0.82% bump in June 2026, reaching $1.34 billion statewide. The growth was heavily fueled by Northern Nevada markets, with Washoe County surging 17.64% year-over-year, effectively counterbalancing a 1.39% decline in gaming win on the Las Vegas Strip.

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total gaming win of $1.3 billion in June 2026 in June 2026, a 0.82% increase compared to June 2025, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

For the full fiscal year running July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, statewide gaming win increased 2.59%, reaching over $16 billion compared to $15,6 billion the prior fiscal year.

Las Vegas Strip declines while northern Nevada surges

Clark County, which includes the Las Vegas Strip, reported a gaming win of $1,150,941,529 in June — a 0.72% decrease from June 2025. The Las Vegas Strip specifically fell 1.39%, from $765,290,693 to $754,667,638.

Not all Clark County markets declined. Downtown Las Vegas rose 2.64% to $75,495,592. North Las Vegas increased 3.36% to $24,742,596. The Boulder Strip gained 1.88% to $89,006,103, and Mesquite rose 2.69% to $14,563,873. Laughlin posted a 3.95% decline, reporting $38,420,726.

Washoe County recorded the largest regional gain, with gaming win rising 17.64% year-over-year to $107,593,552. Reno led that growth with a 20.27% increase to $81,607,093. Sparks rose 16.16% to $15,934,953. North Lake Tahoe was the only Washoe County market to decline, falling 5.94% to $2,081,304.

South Lake Tahoe reported a gaming win of $21,277,443, a 7.51% increase from June 2025. Elko County fell 1.77% to $32,308,777. The Carson Valley Area — which includes Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden, and all other areas of Douglas County except South Lake Tahoe — rose 3.56% to $11,944,523.

The state collected $81,647,636 in percentage fees in July 2026, based on taxable revenues generated in June. That figure represents a 6.99% decrease — or $6,134,363 less — compared to July 2025, when collections totaled $87,781,999. Collections are through July 21, 2026 and do not include $1,829,717 in transferable tax credits taken fiscal-year-to-date.
