(Gumpoldskirchen).- Gaming giant strengthens brand value position for seventh consecutive year
The international gaming technology group NOVOMATIC has once again been ranked as the second most valuable corporate brand in Austria in the 2026 Austrian Brand Value Study, conducted by the European Brand Institute (EBI). The company also retained second place in the Sustainable Brand Ranking.
In the 23rd edition of the study, NOVOMATIC secured the runner-up position behind Red Bull for the seventh consecutive year, reaching a brand value of EUR 3.938 billion, representing a 2% increase compared to the previous year.
Strong international presence drives growth
According to the study, the company’s performance reflects the strength of its global brand strategy and strengthens its market position and continued investment in innovation and sustainable development.
“This top ranking once again confirms the strong international appeal of the NOVOMATIC brand and the success of our long-term corporate strategy.”
Stefan Krenn, Member of the NOVOMATIC AG Executive Board, highlighted the company’s focus on innovation and global growth as key factors behind the result.
“We have succeeded in further strengthening the NOVOMATIC brand worldwide through continuous innovation, the expansion of our global presence, and a consistent focus on sustainable growth.”
Sustainability remains a key pillar
NOVOMATIC also maintained its leading position in the Sustainable Brand Ranking, underlining the importance of its environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy within the group's long-term business plans.
“The fact that we are once again among the leading companies in the Sustainable Brand Ranking shows that economic success and responsible business practices are inextricably linked at NOVOMATIC.”
The company noted that the effectiveness of its sustainability initiatives continues to be validated by independent ESG rating agencies.
International standards underpin the evaluation
The Austrian Brand Value Study, conducted annually by the European Brand Institute, analyzed 180 companies across 16 industries in 2026, with more than 45% of the evaluated businesses being Austrian-owned.
The assessment follows the international standards ISO 10668 and ISO 20671, considering factors such as brand strength, future potential, market trends and economic performance.
Recognition reinforces international standing
With top positions in both the Brand Value and Sustainable Brand categories, NOVOMATIC has once again reinforced its status as one of Austria’s most influential companies with a significant international footprint.
