(Miami).- Win Systems announced the sale of its Gaming Division (“WSG”), including its Gold Club electronic roulette business, to Primero Games LLC (“Primero”), a US-based provider of content, technology and products for the gaming industry.

Win Systems Sells Its Gaming Division to Primero Games

The transaction marks the beginning of a new chapter for Win Systems’ Gaming Division, combining its international presence, product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities and customer relationships with Primero’s gaming content, technology and development resources.

More Than 3,000 Gaming Positions Across Latin America and the Caribbean

Win Systems’ Gaming Division has established a strong international presence, with an installed base of more than 3,000 gaming positions across Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Panama, as well as operations and customers in other markets around the world.

Under Primero’s ownership, the Gaming Division will continue to support its existing customers, products and operations while gaining access to Primero’s extensive game portfolio, platform technology and development capabilities.

Win Systems Highlights the Opportunities Created by the Transaction

“This combination strengthens both companies,” said Eric Benchimol, CEO of Win Systems.

“By combining our installed base, manufacturing operations and market knowledge with Primero’s game portfolio and development engine, we will be able to offer our customers more and better products, and do so faster than either company could achieve separately. The team is excited, and we look forward to beginning this new chapter as part of Primero.”

Meanwhile, Dario Zutel, Executive Chairman of Win Systems, highlighted the transaction as a new stage for the business.

“This transaction marks the beginning of an exciting new stage for our Gaming Division,” he said. “We are confident that Primero Games is the right partner to continue building on everything we have achieved and drive the business into its next phase of international growth.”

Primero Seeks to Build a Global Gaming Company

For Primero Games, the acquisition is part of its strategy to expand its presence and build a diversified global gaming company.

“This is an important step in executing Primero’s growth strategy to build a global and diversified gaming company,” said Mike Macke, Chairman of Primero Games.

“Primero has built its reputation by creating engaging gaming content and developing innovative technology that helps operators generate consistent revenue through compelling player experiences.”

Macke also highlighted the addition of the WSG team to the company.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Eric Benchimol, Dario Zutel and the talented WSG team to Primero,” he added. “By combining Primero’s expertise in content and development with WSG’s products, operations and customer relationships, we will be able to deliver more products, more content and greater value to our customers across a broader range of gaming markets.”

International Expansion

Primero has an established presence in the US gaming markets, with a portfolio that includes gaming content, online gaming solutions, redemption kiosks and an established omnichannel gaming platform.

The acquisition of WSG adds recognized products, manufacturing capabilities and long-standing customer relationships across international markets.

Business Continuity and New Investments

WSG’s teams and infrastructure will continue to support customers in Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Panama and other countries.

Primero and WSG are committed to ensuring continuity for all customers, while Primero plans to invest in the business and introduce new products, content and technologies.
