Abios and Clarion Gaming strike ground-breaking Esports partnership
⏱ 2 min read
(London).- Clarion Gaming has confirmed a dynamic new partnership agreement with Abios which will see the Stockholm-based data provider sponsor the Esports sections within both ICE365.com and iGaming Business (iGB) as well as deliver educational content covering key issues impacting the relationship between Esports and betting.
As one of the most influential thought leaders in the sector, Abios, will provide the betting and broader igaming community with access to a stream of authoritative educational content on topics including the threat posed by match-fixing and illegal betting syndicates, as well as its impact on the integrity of esports. The Abios educational assets will also explore topics including technology, tournaments and the transition path from video game to recognised Esports.
Wiliam Harding, Clarion Gaming's Head of Esports, believes the agreement will provide a platform to help build greater insight and awareness of the opportunities that exist when bringing the two sectors together. He explained: "The interest in esports is growing at an exponential rate among our community of stakeholders and it's vital that we provide them with a curated insight to the esport betting space as well as the tools they need to explore and develop business opportunities. To achieve this core objective, we are fortunate to be able to draw on the breadth and depth of knowledge that Abios has within the esport betting sector. Abios can provide a range of unique services and software applications that will greatly enrich the visitor experience whether that's to ICE365.com, iGB or to our in-person events iGB Live! and ICE London. Abios represents a perfect partner for our brands."
Abios, CEO Oskar Froberg, endorsed the partnership, stating: "Clarion Gaming, courtesy of its digital and in-person events, has an admirable track record of providing the iGaming industry with thought-leading content and I would argue that ICE is the most widely recognised exhibition in our industry. Our relationship with Clarion dates back to the early days of esports and this partnership represents a natural next step for both of us. As an official data partner we are delighted to support, enrich and add value to the ICE365 and iGB esports content and I look forward to progressing what is an exciting partnership."
ICE365.com launches on June 28.
