(Nevada).- Nevada-based Full House Resorts and Wynn Resorts have entered into an agreement to allow Wynn Resorts to operate mobile and online sports betting from Full House properties in Indiana and Colorado.
The casino operator, which runs five casinos in four states, announced last week that it had entered into two agreements with WSI US LLC, a wholly-owned Wynn subsidiary that focuses on interactive gaming and sports wagering.
The deals allow Wynn Resorts to conduct mobile sports wagering throughout Indiana and Colorado, where Full House runs its Rising Star and Bronco Billy’s hotel-casinos, respectively. A press release from Full House did not disclose the terms of the deal.
On Friday, Full House Resorts announced the partnership is with WSI US, LLC, a subsidiary of Wynn Resorts that is primarily in charge of running the company’s interactive gaming and sports betting business.
“We are excited to partner with Wynn Resorts, allowing them to conduct mobile sports wagering throughout Indiana and Colorado,” said President and CEO of Full House Resorts, Daniel R. Lee.
“Wynn Resorts is renowned for its unparalleled focus on guest service and as the premier operator in the gaming industry. We are thrilled to see them bring their unique vision to the online space, beginning with the residents of – and many visitors to – Indiana and Colorado.”
Full House Resorts owns Rising Star Casino Resort in Rising Sun, Indiana, and also Bronco Billy’s Casino and Hotel in Cripple Creek, Colorado.
Sports betting in Indiana was legalized in May and the first sportsbooks in the state launched in September. Online sports betting in Indiana went live earlier this month, although only two online sportsbooks are operational. On the other hand, Colorado sports betting has not yet been officially approved.
CO HB 1372 was passed by the Colorado legislature and signed by CO Governor Jared Polis earlier this year. The bill would allow land-based sports betting at the historic gambling towns of Cripple Creek, Black Hawk, and Central City. Approved venues would be able to offer statewide mobile sports betting apps.
The issue is now on the Colorado ballot and will be decided by voters on November 5. Full House Resort’s and Wynn Resort’s ability to offer mobile sports betting in Colorado will be decided then.
Full House also has a partnership with a mobile sports gambling company, Smarkets that is contingent on this vote as well. Full House Resorts plans to utilize the multiple online skins it has in both Indiana and Colorado.
Full House Resorts has previous experience operating legal sports betting in other ways as well. Along with Indiana and Colorado properties, Full House Resorts also operates land-based sportsbooks at its casinos in Nevada and Mississippi.
