Sky Racing World Launches Australian Greyhound Simulcasting in US

The product will be accessible to USA audiences for the first time in history on Monday morning 15 June with the first meeting beamed live from Shepparton, Victoria. The launch of this service gives Sky Racing World and ADWs a trifecta of Australian wagering opportunities with Thoroughbred Racing, Harness Racing and now Greyhound Racing available.

The Greyhound meetings will be simulcast from a variety of locations across Australia, including the states of Victoria (Melbourne) and New South Wales (Sydney), with feature racing from city tracks like Sandown and Wentworth Park. The fast-paced racing action will be available a minimum of six mornings a week and it is expected the simulcast will appeal to enthusiasts who might be looking to extend their connection with the sport beyond the regulated sunset of the American Greyhound Racing industry.

David Haslett, President and CEO at Sky Racing World, said: “The United States has a storied tradition of greyhound racing and we feel privileged to offer USA participants a way to connect with the sport and its International participants. We hope to provide USA fans with an outlet to continue to enjoy and cheer for the sport they love into the future.”

The Australian Greyhound racing product offering will be similar to the USA product witheight dogs in a race and all standard bet types available.

All races will be live-streamed in HD on skyracingworld.com and major ADW platforms such as TVG, TwinSpires, Xpressbet, NYRABets, WatchandWager, AmWager, and BetAmerica. Wagering is also available via these ADW platforms. Fans can get free access to live-streaming, past performances and picks on all races at skyracingworld.com.
