(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- The fourth edition of NOVOMATIC Week Peru gathered operators from all over the country in Lima in a personalized attention format that combined product exhibition, technical training, and commercial meetings. In a dialogue with SoloAzar, Katty López, Sales Director of NOVOMATIC Peru, highlighted the results of the showroom, analyzed the evolution of the Peruvian market, and reviewed the main innovations presented by the company for the sector.
NOVOMATIC Week Peru consolidated a personalized attention model for operators
NOVOMATIC celebrated in Lima the fourth consecutive edition of NOVOMATIC Week Peru, a showroom designed to offer an exclusive meeting space with casino and gaming hall operators in the country.
As explained by Katty López, Sales Director of NOVOMATIC Peru, the event was born with the objective of strengthening the relationship with each client through personalized meetings that allowed addressing both commercial and technical aspects.
"NOVOMATIC Week – Peru is an event that has been held for the fourth consecutive year and was born from the need to have a dedicated space for each operator, where they feel comfortable discussing any topic they need to talk about with the team. And of course, at the same time, it allows us to showcase all our products."
During the two days, the company also developed a training program aimed at different industry profiles.
"During these two days of the event, we have a space where we provide technical, product, and training sessions aimed at administrative and operational staff from the different slots halls in the country."
A showroom with positive results and new innovations
From NOVOMATIC, they highlighted the consolidation of the format after four consecutive editions and pointed out that both the attendance and the response of the participants exceeded expectations.
López stated that the reception by operators and workshop participants was once again highly favorable, which is why the company reaffirmed its commitment to continue developing this meeting model.
"The results obtained in each edition are successful; the feedback we receive from both the operators and the people attending the workshops is very encouraging. For this reason, we reaffirm each year our commitment and desire to continue working under this scheme."
The main innovations presented during the showroom
One of the main attractions of NOVOMATIC Week Peru was the presentation of the company's latest innovations for the land-based segment. During the showroom, operators were able to see first-hand new developments in games, platforms, and cabinets.
Among the innovations exhibited were the titles XTENSION LINK™ Ultimate, Impera PROLINK™, XTENSION LINK™ Evolution, GAMINATOR™ X5, and Impera Line™ HD Edition 9.
In terms of hardware, the company presented the DIAMOND X™ 3.32, DIAMOND X™ QUATTRO 1.55J, BLACK EDITION II XL 3.32, MASTER SL™ 3.32, and BLACK EDITION II 3.27 cabinets, thus expanding its portfolio of innovations for operators in the Peruvian market.
Peru: a market driven by online gaming regulation
When analyzing the current state of the sector, López highlighted that the formal incorporation of licenses for sports betting and online gaming represented one of the main changes for the Peruvian industry during the last year.
As she explained, this process contributed both to the growth of the market and to the strengthening of activities linked to the gaming ecosystem.
"The formal incorporation has contributed to expanding the tax base and, in turn, benefiting related activities such as advertising, media, among others."
Likewise, she highlighted that the convergence between the online and land-based segments continued to intensify.
"The interrelation between online and land-based is increasingly noticeable, with synergies that strengthen the industry in our country."
Growth opportunities and regulatory challenges
For the executive, technological evolution will continue to generate new opportunities and innovations for the Peruvian market. However, she considered it essential to preserve a stable regulatory framework to accompany that development.
"As technology evolves, the market evolves too. Therefore, we identify new and interesting opportunities."
In that sense, she added that the main challenge consisted of maintaining a solid regulatory environment.
"The challenge always lies in the regulatory entities being able to maintain the regulatory framework of equity and transparency that it currently possesses."
Closeness to the client as a strategic pillar of NOVOMATIC Peru
Regarding the company's objectives for the coming years, López noted that NOVOMATIC would continue to focus its strategy on consolidating its leadership in the Peruvian market through innovation, closeness to operators, and excellence in service.
"We want to offer not only the best products, but also technological solutions that increase operators' profitability and enhance the players' experience."
The executive also highlighted that the personalized format of NOVOMATIC Week remained one of the aspects most valued by clients.
"Our event is not mass-scale; therefore, we have a space dedicated only to operators, at the times they choose for their attention, for as long as they need. This is highly valued by them."
The luxury tax remained the main challenge for the industry
Regarding regulatory matters, López stated that Peru had an environment that favored investment and the growth of the sector. However, she pointed out that the Selective Consumption Tax (ISC / Luxury Tax) continued to represent one of the main obstacles to the industry's development.
"Proper and stable regulation encourages investment in the sector and proposes good prospects for sustained growth towards the future."
However, she warned that the impact of the ISC directly affected the investment capacity of operators.
"This tax significantly reduces margins, limits investment, and produces a lower tax collection at the end of the day. In summary, it proves that a higher rate or amount of taxes does not necessarily equate to higher tax revenue."
